Full Description

Carousel Music Box made by the Bornand Freres in Ste. Croix, Switzerland, Circa 1885. Instrument uses a Double mainspring 8" cylinder movement playing 8 popular tunes to turn the carousel horses, gondolas, have the monkey crank the carousel organ and move the two musicians as they play their instruments. Older restoration. Dimensions: 20" hexagon by 21" high. Serial No. 11836. One tin horse is lost. Canopy diameter is 14"
