Full Description
The Regina automatic disc changing hall clock is one of the RAREST music boxes in existence. Only 5 examples are known to exist with the other 4 either in the hands of private collectors or in a museum where they are unlikely to be offered for sale. This instrument was shipped from the Regina Factory on 12/19/1904 to the Cohen and Hughes Co., music box dealers in Baltimore, MD. This hall clock uses a Seth Thomas time and strike weight driven movement which counts the hour and then automatically plays one of the 6 discs stored in the rack of the Regina autochanger in the base of the clock. Has a piano sound board for a rich, full tonal quality. Furnished with 12 discs - 2 sets. Measures 28" wide by 20" deep by 100" tall. Case exterior refinished - Interior mechanisms are all original.
